The Travel Letters of R. Ovadia of Bartenura
This is not "spiritual" material per se, but fascinating. R. Ovadia of Bartenura, who lived in the late fifteenth century, wrote one of the most important commentaries on the Mishnah.
When he decided to move to the Land of Israel, he felt guilty that he was leaving his old father, and so he wrote him extensive letters of his journey and his experiences in Jerusalem.
Another letter is included here of a student who traveled to Jerusalem to study under R. Ovadia.
